Scratch Wedges Will Be Featured at the Accra Golf Shaft Company’s Demo Day Station and Equipment Testing Center (ETC 42)

Eugene, OR – Scratch Golf (www.scratchgolf.com) wedges will be on display on the floor of next week’s PGA Show in Orlando, Florida. Scratch wedges will be available to touch, see and hit at Accra Golf Shafts’ Equipment Testing Center location, which is ETC 42. Key Scratch Golf executives will also be on hand and available to answer questions about the golf clubs that were the # 1 Forged Wedge on the Nationwide Tour over the last three months of the 2007 Golf season. Scratch wedges also earned a season high tie for 3rd at the PGA Tour’s “Children’s Miracle Network Classic” held at the Magnolia and Palms Golf Clubs in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Scratch Golf wedges were used by two players competing in the 2008 PGA Tour Sony Open in Hawaii.

Scratch Golf Custom Studio Digger / Driver “DOG” Grind 48 Degree Wedge with Raw Finish In Bag of PGA Tour Player That Tied for 9th Place at AT & T PB Pro Am

Eugene, OR A Scratch Golf (www.scratchgolf.com) wedge was in the bag of a player that tied for 9th place at last weekend’s PGA Tour AT & T Pebble Beach Pro Am which was completed Sunday at the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. Scratch Golf’s Custom Studio “DOG” grind, 48 degree wedge was used en route to Scratch Golf’s highest PGA Tour finish of the 2008 season to date. Last November at the PGA Tour’s 2007 Children’s Miracle Network Classic in Orlando, Florida, this same wedge and two other Scratch wedges earned a tie for 3rd place, which is still the highest PGA Tour finish to date for the young premium golf wedge and iron company. Scratch Golf became the # 1 Forged Wedge on the Nationwide Tour over the past 12 weeks of that 2007 Nationwide Tour season. Scratch wedges also earned status as an Award Winner on Rankmark’s 2007-8 “Best of the Best” Wedges list that was published over the winter.

Solo Third and Tie For Fifth at HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship Help Scratch Pick Up in 2008 Where it Left Off at the End of the 2007 Nationwide Tour

Eugene, OR Four Scratch Golf (www.scratchgolf.com) wedges were in the bags of players that earned solo 3rd and tie for 5th place finishes at last weekend’s Nationwide Tour event, the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship, which was held at the Clearwater Resort in Christchurch, New Zealand. A Scratch Golf 61 degree PWE wedge was used by the third place finisher. 51 and 55 degree DOG grinds and a 59 degree PWE grind was used in the tie for 5th. The two top tens by Scratch were the highest finishes of the early, overseas leg of the 2008 Nationwide Tour season. Scratch Golf became the # 1 Forged Wedge on the Nationwide Tour over the past 12 weeks of that 2007 Nationwide Tour season. Scratch wedges also earned status as an Award Winner on Rankmark’s 2007-8 “Best of the Best” Wedges list that was published over the winter.

“It’s a thrill to have two top tens so early in the season,” Scratch Golf Tour Rep Paul Friedrich began. “As always, we congratulate the guys for their performances and wish them well for the rest of the 2008 season. This weekend the Nationwide is set to go to Australia this weekend for the last part of this season opening foreign swing.
